After getting arrested for alleged cocaine possession with intent to distribute, Brooke Mueller has reluctantly been persuaded by loved ones to enter a rehab program, TMZ reports. The former Mrs. Charlie Sheen’s rep says that after multiple stints in in-patient rehab, she’s trying something different: treatment in which she’ll visit a facility during the day, then return home at night.

Afterhours, her rep avows, Brooke will continue to be “under expert supervision 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

And she’ll undergo drug testing: “Brooke has requested to be tested on a daily basis for cocaine and other illegal substances so there is no doubt as to her commitment,” her rep says.

Reportedly Brooke made the decision to stay at home while seeking treatment so as not to disrupt the regularity of her schedule with twin toddler sons Bob and Max — and Charlie Sheen is supportive. According to TMZ, he does not intend to seek full custody of the boys.

Well, we never thought we’d say this, but in the long run, at-home rehab seems to have worked out pretty well for Charlie Sheen himself.
